Critical Protect provides a lump sum cash benefit upon diagnosis of any one of the 51 Critical Illnesses. You can use this lump sum to pay for treatment, rehabilitation, hospital bills, alternative medicine or anything you wish to use it for. It’s your money and you are free to do whatever you wish.

Critical Illness Benefit
Pays a lump sum benefit upon first diagnosis by a Registered Medical Practitioner to be suffering from any one of fifty-one (51) Critical Illnesses during the period of insurance.

Cancer Surgical Treatment Benefit
Reimburses actual expenses for surgical fees for the treatment of Cancer up to the maximum Sum Insured provided Insured Person is first diagnosed from suffering from a covered Cancer during the period of insurance.

Dietary and Nutritional Therapy Benefit
Reimburses actual expenses up to maximum Sum Insured for the cost of any Dietary and Nutritional Therapy as treatment for reclaiming the Insured Persons health provided the Insured Person is first diagnosed from suffering from a covered Cancer during the period of insurance.

Home Accessibility Benefit
Reimburses actual expenses up to the maximum Sum Insured for the cost of altering or renovating your principal residence after suffering a Stroke or a covered Cancer so your residence can be more accommodating and accessible.

Who can enroll in this plan?
MAIN APPLICANT / EMPLOYEE
MAIN APPLICANT: 18 to 65 years old
SPOUSE: 18 to 65 years old
DEPENDENTS
DEPENDENT CHILDREN: 6 months - 18 years old or up to 25 years old if in Full Time Schooling
PARENTS(S) / PARENTS-IN LAW: Below 65 years old

Major Exclusions:
War, suicide, pregnancy, childbirth, HIV related illness including AIDS, engaging in a sport in a professional capacity, the influence and/or effects of alcohol or drugs, motorcycling for professional use, murder or assault which is provoked, illegal acts, psychosis, pre-existing conditions disease, political acts or illegal activities and any loss which occurs while the Insured Person is in any country whereby the provision of insurance or payment for loss or claim would be prohibited by the US economic or trade sanctions, laws, regulation or designations.
Pre-Existing is defined as a condition in which the Insured Person received or were recommended by a Registered Medical Practitioner for any medical treatment , diagnosis, consultation or prescribed drugs, or the existence of any symptoms either known or unknown to the Insured Person within two (2) years preceding the effective date.
Waiting Period means the period of ninety (90) days which commences immediately following the policy’s effective date, or last reinstatement date, or date of any increase of benefit coverage (to the extent of such increase only), whichever is later.
